30 weeks

It's so bizarre for me to think that this sweet baby girl will be here in only 9 weeks!! How crazy is that and how fast has this pregnancy gone by?! The fantastic thing about having a scheduled c-section is just that...it's scheduled! No waiting around wondering! It's nice to know that I will, for sure, have this baby by noon on Wednesday October 7th....or sooner!
But, for now, I'm quite happy for her to stay inside me :)

(p.s. bruce snapped this photo at the end of the day, which is why i look so haggard.)

I love these kids!!!!

Just our typical after nap routine....sitting on our "poo-poo potties" for at least half an hour! These girls crack me up.

Just checking....

"Humm, this toilet paper looks just right....
.....yep, I think I'll use it....
....and now I'll return it to big sis."

our new family favorite!!

We L-O-V-E this!! It's not what you think....so listen & watch it! I know you'll love it! It'll give you chills - especially towards the middle/end. So, go grab your kiddos and dance with them!
Ahhhh....it's so good!

confession...

....I am a lover of Fleetwood Mac. I have been since I was just a little girl. Both of my parents are big-time Mac fans, so I've grown up listening to their music. I can remember growing up listening to the music blaring upstairs while my dad jammed out on his drums to Fleetwood Mac.
My boyfriend all through high school also loved the beloved band and I thought that was, for sure, a sign of us being destined for marriage :)
My point: because I now jam out to Fleetwood Mac with my girls, they love their music, too. I'm fairly certain they are they only 1 and 2 year-old's who not only recognize any given Fleetwood Mac song, but they get excited and start dancing. For instance, today in the doctor's office, "Everywhere" came on in the waiting room and they both danced their little hearts out! No reservations...just danced! I love it!!

Really?!

I do all of my grocery shopping online from the big grocery stores in the city and it gets delivered right to my doorstep. I LOVE this. (I don't know what I'm going to do when we move back to America and I have to actually go to a store!)
Okay, so the order gets processed correctly about 99% of the time....here's the 1%.
I ordered 2 cans of sliced mushrooms and these are what I got....doesn't look so bad, right?
Now look at the next picture.....

...Ummmm, did the order come from the American Girl doll store??!
I'm pretty sure I'm making dinner for humans. I'm gunna need bigger - normal - size cans next time, grocery store people.

A very PINK 4th of July

Although we didn't get to celebrate The 4th of July the way we usually do, we had a really fun day! We went to see Disney Princesses on Ice and Bruce was able to get us fantastic tickets....seats only 4 rows from the ice!! Grace & Haylee loved every minute of it and kept saying, "Barbies.....dance!" Very, very cute. Bruce and I enjoyed it, too. It was actually a very well-done production from the costumes, to the music, to the dancing and skating. We even got to see fireworks at the end of the show!
(A lot of the pics are crummy because we had to use our crummy point-and-shoot camera. Our nice SLR camera was considered "professional", so we couldn't bring it.)
Say "Cheeeese!!" on the train/subway into the city.

On the train platform...
On the walk to the ice arena, passing the pro cricket stadium.

Let's be honest...to the right is what I really want to go see...
Not sure why Grace looks like a scared rabbit. She really did have fun. Promise!

Minnie & Mickey, Aladdin & Princess Jasmine

Snow White & Prince Charming, "Be Our Guest" Beauty & The Beast

The Little Mermaid

Sleeping Beauty

Cinderella

We've had a GREAT day! Now we're ready for bed!

Our indoor swimming pool

So, what do you do when your little princesses want to swim, but it's a freezing 37 degrees outside? You bring the pool inside. Yep. I washed out their swimming pool and brought it into their bathroom. I turned the space heater on, poured warm water in the pool, and the girls - and their Barbies & My Little Ponies, of course - swam the morning away!
(It was one of my best ideas yet, I must say :) )
