"Nesting"?? ...you tell me...

So, in the past week, here's what I've done:
gutted Haylee's closet, shelves, and drawers to rearrange her clothes
gutted Grace's closet, shelves, and dresser to rearrange her clothes
rearranged the linen closet
gutted our closet, dresser, and shelves to rearrange clothes and shoes
helped Bruce rearrange the garage... for the third time...
got out all of the massive tubs full of baby clothes, blankets, toys, shoes, etc.
washed & folded all of the baby clothes and blankets
organized all the baby clothes and blankets
set up the bassinet
sewed 22 burp cloths
sewed 2 "puppy pillows" for Haylee & Gracie to play with
pulled all the weeds in the yard
scrubbed every wall in the house
rearranged all bathroom cabinets
rearranged the Tupperware
started a project of making the girls dress-up tutus
rearranged the pantry
rearranged the laundry room
rearranged the living room furniture
hummm....I know there's more I'm forgetting....

Sewing + Neglect = a big mess

I neglected my children all morning while I made burp cloths for friends' baby gifts.
So, while I made all of these......

....Haylee & Grace did this to the house:

You'd think there were 200 monkeys in my house, but, no...only 2 little girls.

Tea Party

Bruce got Gracie & Haylee this little table and chairs and they LOVE it! While they ate their breakfast here this morning, they giggled and giggled...they thought they were so big!

waving!

Gracie copying me saying, "Soooo big!"

Some people....

So, I'm sitting in church yesterday and I over hear this conversation behind me:
woman 1: "Wow! Look at you! You're still here....you STILL haven't had your baby?!"
woman 2: "Yep. Still pregnant."
woman 1: "You know, I can tell you're really close to having your baby...."
woman 2: "Oh, really? How's that?"
woman 1: "Your face and neck are really chubby and that happens at the very end of pregnancy."
woman 2: "Oh...." *silence*
Nice.

I'm not a wiener afterall

I have been so tired lately. Like, completely exhausted, overwhelmed-with-fatigue-and-even- feel-weak tired. Today I went to my regular OB check-up and my doctor told me that my last blood test results came back and showed my iron levels were "dangerously low". Although I don't want low iron levels, at least I now feel a bit more justified in my always feeling like a wiener.
In other check-up news....as my doctor was feeling my belly, he says to me, "Oh, Amanda, you have a BIG baby growing in here!" Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I'm thinking it's just fine only because I'm not delivering via my *hoo-hoo*. I feel sorry for the poor girls he says that to who have to....! Thanks, but no thanks.

A fun day

Today was a really great family day. We took the train into the city and just spent the morning there. We walked along the Yarra River, checked out all the great outdoor markets, had a picnic in the Royal Botanical Gardens, and relaxed! It was a fun day!

Waiting for the train.... Down to the train tunnel...

I love that little bum.

Street performers are everywhere here. Here was a guy with a "Dog Circus". Kinda weird, but the girls loved it.

He let the kids pet the dogs, but Grace & Haylee wanted nothing to do with getting close enough to touch.

I just really love that 'trash' is called 'rubbish' here. I don't know why I love it, but I do.
