Okay, so there are certainly those days that being a mom isn't the most glamorous and fabulous... let's all be honest here! However, then there are those teeny, tiny little moments that make being a mom the most fantastic, wonderful, and fulfilling thing ever! Here's what happened...
I put Gracie to bed without her lovie (pink blanket) because it was in the dryer. She was still awake in her bed singing when the dryer buzzed, so I decided to take lovie in to her. It was still warm when I snuggled it all around her face. She smiled up at me and said, "Day-do, Mama!" ("thank you" for the un-trained ear) Oh my sweetness!!!! Let me just say that my heart did a happy flip in my chest!
Sometimes, right in the middle of everything crazy, I'll close my eyes and say a little prayer of gratitude for my little monkeys. I love being a mom. I really, really do.

how cute! and i totally agree that there are those tiny moments when you are so thankful to be a mom! what a cute story.
How sweet! I am totally with you. I have to hold on real strong to these few adorable little things they do everyday to keep the right perspective. They do make my heart melt.
